Barcode Warehouse Management System

A warehouse management system(WMS)  is an element of the Supply Chain Management process that manages the movement and storage of materials throughout the warehouse.

WMS functionality can be broken down into the following three operations:
• Putaway,
• Replenishment,
• Picking

The key to these systems is the logic to direct these operations to specific locations based on user defined criteria. Stallion warehouse management system uses an Auto ID Data Capture (AIDC) technology, such as barcode scanners, mobile computers, wireless LANs and potentially Radio-frequency identification (RFID) to efficiently monitor the flow of products. Once data has been collected, there is either batch synchronization  or a real-time wireless transmission to a central database. The database can then provide useful reports about the status of goods in the warehouse.

Benefits

• User Defined Movement Process
• Optimize Space Utilization
• Automatic Replenishment
• LPN and Lot / Serial Creation and Tracking
• Fully Integrated

The barcode warehouse management system eliminates the need for paper documentation. All documentation is generated, transmitted, processed and optimized in the system and transformed into precise tasks sent individually to operators' RF terminal screens. Every operation is confirmed and logged into the system by the operator through either scanning a bar code, or entering data via the RF terminal keyboard. Therefore, information on product quantity and allocation in the warehouse is always accurate and up-to-date, so any mistakes or exceptions can be noted and immediately corrected.
